Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Doggiepoggie ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Doggiepoggie mobile application.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and name you provide when registering. If you use Apple Sign-In, we receive an anonymized Apple identifier and optionally your name and email.
- Usage data: the training cards you draw, achievements you unlock, and timestamps of your activity. This is used to power the app features.
- Purchase data: when you buy premium access, we receive a receipt or purchase token from Apple or Google to validate the purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Device data: timezone and basic device information sent with requests to serve content correctly.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To deliver daily training cards and sync progress and achievements across your devices.
- To validate in-app purchases and unlock premium features.
- To fix bugs, improve the app, and prevent abuse.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (hosting, app stores for purchase validation). Apple and Google process payments under their own privacy policies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app at any time: sign in, go to Settings, and tap "Delete account". Deletion is immediate and permanent. We may retain minimal records required by law (e.g. purchase receipts).
Children
Doggiepoggie is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit and hashed passwords at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your rights
You can delete your account and data from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). For access, correction, or export requests, contact us. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. EU/EEA, UK), you may have additional rights under GDPR such as data portability and the right to object to processing.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
